Terms of Service

Last updated: February 22, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MinuteMail at minutemail.co or our API, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

MinuteMail provides temporary, disposable email addresses that automatically expire and are permanently deleted. Features include anonymous mailboxes (no registration required), extended mailbox management and API access for registered users, and custom domains for paid plans.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to use the Service. By using MinuteMail you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement and are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may NOT use MinuteMail to send spam or phishing messages, transmit malware or harmful content, attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts, interfere with the Service, circumvent rate limits, or resell the Service without written consent. Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel before the renewal date. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law. Upgrades take effect immediately (prorated); downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. Price changes are communicated with at least 30 days' notice.

6. Service Limitations and Disclaimers

MinuteMail is designed for temporary, disposable communications. Mailboxes and all their content are permanently and irrecoverably deleted on expiration. Do not use temporary addresses for important, sensitive, or confidential communications.

The Service is provided "as-is" and "as available" without guarantees of uptime, delivery, or fitness for a particular purpose. We reserve the right to perform maintenance that may result in temporary unavailability.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MinuteMail is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for all claims is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $100 if you paid nothing).

8. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violations of these Terms, illegal activity, or repeated payment failures.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada. Disputes must be filed in the courts of the Province of Quebec. Before filing a claim, contact us at support@minutemail.co to attempt informal resolution.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on our website for at least 30 days and emailed to registered users. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
