Terms of Service
Last updated: August 12, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MinuteMail at minutemail.co or our API, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
MinuteMail is a testing framework for developers and QA engineers. It provides ephemeral mailboxes (anonymous and registered), a mock OAuth 2.0 identity provider, a REST API with Python SDK, and an MCP Server for AI-assisted testing. Features include extended mailbox management, API access, custom domains, and team collaboration for paid plans. The mock OAuth identity provider is intended solely for testing authentication flows — it is not a production identity provider.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to use the Service. By using MinuteMail you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement and are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may NOT use MinuteMail to send spam or phishing messages, transmit malware or harmful content, attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts, interfere with the Service, circumvent rate limits or API quotas, use API keys to abuse the Service at scale, use the mock OAuth identity provider as a real authentication system for production applications, or resell the Service without written consent. Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel before the renewal date. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law. Upgrades take effect immediately (prorated); downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. Price changes are communicated with at least 30 days' notice.
6. Service Limitations and Disclaimers
MinuteMail is designed for testing and ephemeral communications. Mailboxes and all their content are permanently and irrecoverably deleted on expiration — this is a core design feature, not a limitation. Do not use temporary addresses for important, sensitive, or confidential communications.
The Service is provided "as-is" and "as available" without guarantees of uptime, delivery, or fitness for a particular purpose. The mock OAuth identity provider is for testing purposes only and must not be used as a real identity provider in production systems. API usage is subject to rate limits and quotas that vary by plan. We reserve the right to perform maintenance that may result in temporary unavailability.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MinuteMail is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for all claims is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $100 if you paid nothing).
8. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violations of these Terms, illegal activity, or repeated payment failures.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada. Disputes must be filed in the courts of the Province of Quebec. Before filing a claim, contact us at support@minutemail.co to attempt informal resolution.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on our website for at least 30 days and emailed to registered users. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
